Get To Know You

  • Where are you from? – I was born in the Caribbean, Dominican Republic, and was raised in Puerto Rico for most of my younger years.
  • How many years have you worked for HRC? – Over 10 years.
  • What is your favorite relationship principle you have learned from HRC? – My favorite relationship principle is empathetic communication. This principle involves actively listening to and understanding your partner’s thoughts, feelings, and needs and responding with empathy and understanding. It is my go-to skill in most of my conversations.
  • What is your favorite movie and/or book? For me, it isn’t easy to pick one favorite book. But if I were stuck on an island with one book, it would have to be the Bible, the New International Version.
  • What is your favorite place to travel?I love Cancun, Mexico. I would go back again and again.
  • Tell us a little bit about your family. – “My family is built on a foundation of love, biblical principles, and care for each other. From time to time, we have challenges, and we learn from them. My wife Claudia and I help couples and families that struggle with their past. We know how to help because we previously worked with those same issues, and we seek God’s help.

We believe in supporting and uplifting one another through thick and thin. We celebrate each other’s academic achievements, careers, or community involvement. We cherish our time together, engaging in hobbies like board games, camping, time with friends, and cooking. What truly defines my family is the unwavering support we offer one another, providing a haven during challenging times. We are known for our compassion and sense of humor, keeping each other grounded and uplifted.”
