In May of this year, we marked a significant milestone at Healthy Relationships California (HRC) —celebrating our 18th year as an organization! It’s a momentous occasion that has us reflecting on our journey, appreciating the incredible team that has made HRC special and successful, and looking forward to the exciting path ahead.

Our journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, and it’s all thanks to our incredible team of staff members. Some have been with us since the very beginning, while others have joined very recently. Regardless of when they came on board, each has brought something unique and valuable to our organization.
As we look around at the faces that make up our HRC family, we’re reminded of the passion and dedication that infuse every aspect of our work. We take immense pride in caring for families, couples, parents, kids, co-workers, and neighbors. A Journey of Transformation
HRC’s journey began in 2005 when we were founded as the California Healthy Marriages Coalition. Over the years we’ve been fortunate to receive multiple rounds of Federal grant funding, enabling us to address a critical need in our society—the need for stronger families and communities. Our commitment to this cause has led us to collaborate with a wide variety of organizations within California, across the nation, and even internationally.
Our primary mission is to provide individuals and families with research-based information that, when put into practice, has the power to change relationships and lives for the better. To date, HRC has proudly served more than 260,000 Californians, including couples, parents, and youth, some while they were incarcerated. The impact we’ve had on these lives is immeasurable, and it’s something we hold dear.
Empowering through Education: The R3 Academy
Currently, thanks to our most recent Federal grant, many of our Instructors are busy teaching free workshops through our R3 Academy programs. The R3 Academy is one of our platforms for education and growth, where individuals and couples can access valuable resources and curricula aimed at enhancing their relationships and personal development.
